John Kibarian
Chief Executive Officer
President, Co-Founder
Kibarian has served as president of PDF Solutions since founding the company in 1991. He was appointed CEO in 2000. Before launching the company, Dr. Kibarian was a researcher at Carnegie Mellon University's SEMATECH Center for Rapid Yield Learning. While there, he developed algorithms for diagnosing process variations based on electrical test data, and for yield maximization based on circuit optimization and statistical process and device simulation. He holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, all from Carnegie Mellon University.

Keith Jones
Chief Financial Officer
Vice President, Finance & Administration
Jones was named vice-president and Chief Financial Officer of PDF Solutions in 2006. He served as the company's director of Finance and SEC Compliance since joining the company in 2003. Before that, Mr. Jones was the assistant controller for Interwoven, Inc., controller for eTime Capital, Inc., and was an audit manager for Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mr. Jones received a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno and is a Certified Public Accountant.

P. Steven Melman
Vice President, Investor Relations & Strategic Initiatives
Melman was appointed vice-president of Investor Relations and Strategic Initiatives in January 2006. He is responsible for investor relations and coordinating strategic initiatives for the Company. Upon joining the Company in 1998, through December 2005, Mr. Melman served as vice-president of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he was vice-president of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Animation Science Corporation and Business Resource Group. Melman has also held senior management positions at Kubota Graphics Corporation, Stardent Computer, Apple Computer Inc., and Schlumberger Ltd. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University and is a CPA.

David Joseph
Chief Strategy Officer
Joseph was appointed chief strategy officer in 2003. Since joining PDF in 1999, he has served as executive vice president of sales, marketing, and business development; vice-president of product and methods; and vice-president of business development. Before joining PDF, he was vice president of strategic alliances at KLA-Tencor, where he had previously held management positions in engineering and marketing; was the Japan business manager; and was the general manager of the yield analysis business unit. Joseph holds a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from Stanford University.

Andrzej Strojwas
Chief Technologist
Strojwas has served as a technical advisor to PDF since the company's founding, and was named its chief technologist in 1997. A Keithley Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, Dr. Strojwas has held senior technical positions at Harris Semiconductor Co., AT&T Bell Labs, Texas Instruments, NEC, Hitachi, SEMATECH, and KLA-Tencor. In addition, Strojwas has consulted for semiconductor companies, equipment vendors, and electronic design automation companies in the area of statistically based CAD/CIM of VLSI circuits. He holds an M.S. in Electronic Engineering from Warsaw Technical University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

Kimon Michaels
Vice President, Design For Manufacturability, Co-Founder
A founder of PDF, Michaels has served as vice-president, integration practice, and as CFO. He has been a company director since 1995. Michaels has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Electronics and Computer Engineering, all from Carnegie Mellon University.

Jim Jensen
Vice President, Business Development
Jensen is vice president, business development with primary responsibility for Fault Detection & Classification. From 2003 to 2006, Jim was vice president of client services and applications. Before that, he was director of business development, Integrated Yield Ramp Solutions. Prior to joining PDF Solutions, Jensen was the general manager of Texas Instruments' Santa Cruz semiconductor fabrication facility, and was fabrication operations director for Silicon Systems Inc. Jensen received a B.S. in Physics from the University of Utah and an M.S. in Management from Purdue University.

Andre Hawit
Vice President and General Manager Yield Management Solutions
Andre Hawit became vice president of software development in 2003 when PDF Solutions acquired IDS Software Systems, Inc. He was founder and CTO of IDS. Before that, Hawit held various management and technical positions at Analog Devices, Inc. He has a B.S. in Electronics and Computer Engineering from San Francisco State University and an M.B.A. from the National University School of Business.

Cees Hartgring
Vice President Client Services and Sales
Hartgring joined PDF in 2002 as vice president of business development and sales. Before that, he served as CEO of TriMedia Technologies, a fabless semiconductor IP company spun out from Philips Semiconductors. Previously, he was a vice president at Philips, andbefore that, he formed and led the silicon division of Silicon & Software Systems. Hartgring has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He holds 11 patents in VLSI design and semiconductor devices.

Richard Moustiés
Vice President and General Manager Process Control Solutions
Moustiés became General Manager for the Process Control Solutions division in October 2006, when PDF Solutions acquired Si Automation. He co-founded Si Automation with Thierry Raymond in 1987. He was CEO of the company, which was providing supervision solutions for wet and diffusion processes. In 1999, on the strength of the experience acquired and R&D results, Richard Moustiés successfully positioned the company in Data Collection for Advance Process Control. In 5 years Si Automation became a leading supplier of sophisticated software solutions for Fault Detection & Classification for the semiconductor industry. Before that, Richard Moustiés started his career as Instrumentation Engineer at Semy Engineering in Montpellier, France.

Steve Morstad
Vice President, Business Operations
Morstad has served as vice president of business operations since 2001, after joining PDF on its IPO team in 2000. Before that, he was a principal for nine years in the business consultancy of Montgomery Morstad Inc., serving its clients TSMC, KLA-Tencor, Texas Instruments, and SEMATECH. Before that, Morstad served in government and law, including at the firm of Foley & Lardner. He earned his B.A. and J.D. from Marquette University.
