AMS-Osram E-PC Migration PoC Project

AMS-Osram, in partnership with PDF Solutions, has successfully completed a Proof of Concept demonstrating a seamless migration path from their legacy Maestria® FDC system to the modern Exensio® Process Control platform — without disrupting existing operations across their 280-tool fab environment generating ~9,000 alarms per day. The PoC validated three core capabilities: a dual-system technical migration approach that preserves all Maestria functionality while centralizing FDC trace data in E-PC in real time; six powerful E-PC features including Tool Matching, Dynamic Statistical Reporting, Fab Model (delivering 90% efficiency gains), Custom Script Indicators for automated SVID Freezing Detection, Preventive Maintenance Quality Assessment, and Fab Exact Copy & Matching; and a fully integrated FDC-to-Yield Management workflow that combines process fingerprints with wafer-sort bin data to pinpoint root causes in minutes rather than days.
